Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the ScanFlash application operated by Reserved Technologies.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ScanFlash, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the application.
2. Description of Service
ScanFlash is a document scanning application that allows users to capture, organize, and manage digital documents. The app is available in a free version with advertising and a Pro subscription version with additional features.
3. User Accounts
ScanFlash does not require account creation or registration. An anonymous identifier is assigned to your device solely for subscription management and usage limit tracking.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
- Auto-Renewal: ScanFlash Pro is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
- Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings in Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Pricing: Subscription prices are displayed in the app and may vary by region. Price changes will be notified in advance.
- Refunds: Refunds are processed according to Apple's or Google's policies depending on the purchase platform. Reserved Technologies does not process payments directly.
- Free Trial: If a free trial period is offered, unused days are forfeited when subscribing to the paid plan.
5. Acceptable Use
By using ScanFlash, you agree not to:
- Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Pro features without a valid subscription.
- Use the app to scan or distribute copyrighted material without authorization.
- Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code through the app.
6. User Content
- Ownership: You retain all rights to the documents you scan and create with ScanFlash. We do not claim ownership of your content.
- Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you scan, store, and share using the app.
- Processing: By using Pro features, you authorize the temporary sending of document content to our servers and third-party services for processing, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
The ScanFlash app, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and interfaces, is the property of Reserved Technologies and is protected by intellectual property laws. No intellectual property rights in the app are granted to you beyond the limited license to use it.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
ScanFlash is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scanning/OCR results will be 100% accurate. OCR accuracy and AI summaries may vary based on document quality and conditions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reserved Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from the use or inability to use the app.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reserved Technologies from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your use of the application or violation of these terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these terms or is harmful to other users. Upon termination, the provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the State of Mexico.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted within the app and on our website. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Apple-Specific Provisions (iOS)
For iOS users: these Terms are an agreement between you and Reserved Technologies, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the app. In the event the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for third-party claims that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
